COMPOSITION

Contains per ml:

Albendazole                                                  100       mg

 

DESCRIPTION

Albendazole is a synthetic anthelmintic which belongs to the group of benzimidazole-derivatives. It is active against range of worms such as gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms and tapeworms in cattle, sheep and goats. Albendazole is also active against adult liver flukes in cattle, sheep and goats.

 

INDICATIONS

VETKODAZOL 10% ORAL is indicated for prophylaxis and treatment of worm infections in cattle, sheep and goats.

Gastrointestinal worms:    Bunostomum, Chabertia, Cooperia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Oesophagostomum,  Ostertagia,   Strongyloides and                                                             Trichostrongylus spp.

Lungworms:                         D. viviparus and D. filaria.

Tapeworms:                         Monieza spp.

Liver fluke infestations:      Mature Fasciola hepatica.

 

CONTRA-INDICATIONS

Do not administer in the first 45 days of pregnancy.

 

SIDE EFFECTS

Hypersensitivity reactions.

 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

For oral administration via drinking water. Shake well before use.

Cattle                     : 1 ml per 12 kg bodyweight.

Sheep                    : 1 ml per 20 kg bodyweight.

Goats                     : 1 ml per 10 kg of bodyweight.

In case of liver fluke infestations.

Cattle                     : 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight.

Sheep                    : 1 ml per 12 kg bodyweight.

Repeat treatment only on advice of your veterinarian.

 

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

Meat      : 12 days

Milk        : 4 days

 

STORAGE

Store in a dry and dark place between 8 °C and 25 °C.

Store in closed packing.

Keep away from children.

Bottle of 1,000 ml (12 bottles per box).

Can of 2,500 ml (4 cans per box).

Can of 5,000 ml (2 cans per box).
